Sundar Pichai of Indian origin has been made the new CEO of Google. Sundar Pichai was the senior vice president of the company till now. Born in Chennai in 1972, Sundar Pichai's original name is Pichai Sundarajan, but he is known as Sundar Pichai.
Sundar Pichai holds his Bachelor's degree from IIT Kharagpur. He won the silver medal in his batch. In the US, Sundar studied MS at Stanford University and MBA from Worton University. Pichai was known as Siebel Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004. At that time he was a Product and Innovation Officer. Sundar has been a Senior Vice President (Android, Chrome and Apps Division). In October last year, he was made Senior VP (Product Chief) of Google. He has a major role in the development of Android operating system and Google Chrome, launched in 2008.
Sunder Pichai lived in Stanford in 1995 as a paying guest. He used old things to save money, but did not compromise on studies. He wanted to pursue a PhD but the circumstances became such that he had to work as a product manager at Applied Materials Inc. He did not have any identity even after working as a consultant in the famous company McKinsey.
On 1 April 2004 he entered Google. Sundar's first project was to improve Google's search toolbar in the Product Management and Innovation branch and bring traffic to Google's second browser. During this time he suggested that Google should launch its browser.
With this one idea, he came in the eyes of Larry Page, the founder of Google. With this idea, he started to get his real identity. From 2008 to 2013, there was a successful launch of the Chrome operating system under the leadership of Sundar Pichai and after that it got its name worldwide from Android Market Place.
Sundar has created Google Drive, Gmail App and Google Video Codec. Sundar's Chrome OS and Android app put him on top of Google. The Android division came to him last year and he also contributed to further Google's other business. Because of Pichai, Google made Samsung a partner.
As a product manager, when Sundar joined Google, he researched for Internet users, so that the users who want to install can get installed quickly. Although this task was not much fun, they proved themselves to have better relationships with other companies, so that the toolbar could be improved. He was made the director of Product Management. When Larry Page became CEO of Google in 2011, he was immediately promoted to senior vice president, promoting Pichai.

In February 2016, he was awarded 273,328 shares of Alphabet, the holding company of Google, with a substantial increase in his total assets. At the same time, in 2016, he earned Rs 1,280 crore by serving Google company. Whereas in 2015, when he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Product, he received about 600 crores in compensation rupees.
